thank you for the nice emails regarding my white pen product review. :) a few of you asked about black pens & particularly wanted a PR on the black sakura glaze pen...so here it is...
i've been a pretty loyal fan of the black micron pigma pen since way back in my CM days...but lately i've found myself reaching for my slick writer by american crafts. they are pretty full proof with quick drying time making for great journaling on all types of surfaces. i enjoy trying new products so i was happy to hear that some of you out there wanted my opinion on the black glaze pen. i've actually had the set of sakura glaze pens for some time now, but haven't used all of them yet so i was surprised when i started writing with the black one. wow! why haven't i used it before??? it writes so smoothly and when it dries it is glossy, raised & super dark!!! :) it would be great on light colored paper or on acrylic! :) i know i'll be using mine more often! :) one of the other pens i used for comparison was the sharpie {since i thought it was one that most people have used before} and the other was the sakura souffle. this one's not too bad if you want a light black...almost grey. i think this one would also be good on acrylics or other non-porus surfaces. :)
that was fun! :) keep the emails & PR requests coming! :)
